First Sub-Regional workshop on Preparation of status Report and sub-regional Road map for Implementing the Global Waste Management Goals toward Addressing SDGs in South Asia is being held for two days starting today in Kathmandu,Nepal. It is jointly organized by SACEP, IGES Center Collaborating with UNEP on Environmental Technologies (CCET),Government of Nepal, ICIMOD and the Ministry of Environment, Japan. The workshop was inaugurated by His Excellency Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Minister of Forests and Environment, Government of Nepal, Director General of SACEP, and Director of CCET. This workshop will be followed by a series of workshops which will be held in other cities of South Asian countries.
