Ms Rokeya Khaton, Director General, SACEP, visited H. E. Mr Santosh Jha, the Chairman of the Consultative Committee and Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka on 3 October to formally bid farewell, as her tenure comes to a close on 8 October 2024.
During the meeting, DG expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support and cooperation extended by the Chairman and the Committee throughout her term. The discussions highlighted the collaborative achievements made under DG’s leadership, focusing on advancing regional environmental initiatives. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring continuity and sustained progress on several ongoing projects and programs including PLEASE Project funded by the World Bank.
The Chairman appreciated DG’s leadership and wished her success in her future endeavors.
