Ms. Rokeya Khaton, Director General of SACEP paid a courtesy call on H.E. Gopal Baglay, High Commissioner of the Republic of India for Sri Lanka on 27th September 2023. During the meeting, H.E. Gopal Baglay acknowledged the commendable efforts undertaken by SACEP in the field of the environment. Ms. Rokeya Khaton provided a comprehensive overview of the ongoing activities of the organization.
Expressing gratitude for the productive discussion, H.E. Gopal Baglay conveyed appreciation for the collaborative efforts in the environmental sector. Mr. Vivek Sharma, First Secretary (E & C) of the High Commission of India and Ms. Priyankari Alexander, Administrative Officer (In charge) / Programme Officer of SACEP also attended the meeting.
