Ms. Rokeya Khaton, Director General, SACEP paid a farewell visit to Mr. B.K.P. Chandrakeerthi, National Focal Point and Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Sri Lanka, as her tenure concluded on 8 October. During the meeting, DG expressed her sincere appreciation for the support and collaboration extended by the Ministry and Sri Lanka as a whole during her tenure.
They discussed key achievements and initiatives undertaken together to address regional environmental challenges. Mr. Chandrakeerthi commended DG’s leadership and dedication, acknowledging the positive impact made in strengthening regional cooperation on environmental issues, and wished her continued success in her future endeavors.
