Dr. Md. Masumur Rahman, Director General, Ms. Jacintha S. Tissera, Head of Chancery and Ms. Priyankari Alexander paid a courtesy call on Honourable Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Environment of Sri Lanka on October 25, 2021.
The Director General expressed his gratitude to the Honourable Minister for their patronage to SACEP as the host country and also for its continuous active support extended since its establishment over the past four decades.
Dr. Rahman emphasized that nitrogen pollution is a multifaceted environmental problem which contributes to climate change, eutrophication, food security & health, globally and appreciated the efforts taken by the Government of Sri Lanka on Sustainable Nitrogen Management, which is a way forward of the landmark initiative taken by SACEP in 2016.
