On September 07, 2023, a delegation from the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) met with Ms. Rokeya Khaton, Director General of the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme (SACEP) at the SACEP Secretariat to extend well wishes and present progress updates related to ongoing project activities of the Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia (PLEASE) Project.
Present at the meeting was (left to right) Ms. Priyankari Alexander (Programme Officer & Administrative Officer (In charge, SACEP), Ms. Lian Zhang (Senior Programme Manager, UNOPS), Ms. Rokeya Khaton (Director General, SACEP), Ms. Charles Callanan (Director, UNOPS South Asia Multi-Country Office) and Ms. Alice Qin (Senior Programme Manager, UNOPS Sri Lanka Office).
