Dr. Abas Basir, Director General of South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) met with Mr. Muthukumara S. Mani, Lead Economist and Team leader for South Asia Region Climate Change Action Plan, World Bank Head Office on 27th January 2020 to discuss on the possible collaborative activities between SACEP and the Word Bank in the coming months. During the discussions Climate Change and Air Pollution were identified as two areas of common interest to both the organizations and it was agreed to conduct some joint activities to address these issues in South Asia Region during the year 2020.
