SACEP Delegates participate in SBSTTA-24

Dr. Md Masumur Rahman, Director General of South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme (SACEP) is leading SACEP's Delegation in SBSTTA-24, SBI-3 and WG2020-3 (resumed) meeting in Geneva, Switzerland (14-29 March, 2022).

• Nations Convene in Geneva to Set Stage for UN Biodiversity Conference (COP-15), UN biodiversity conferences two subsidiary bodies and open-ended working group tasked with developing post 2020 Biodiversity framework resume in person sessions to safeguard Nature.
• Geneva meeting critical to developing ambitious transformative post 2020 framework and accelerate progress efforts to safeguard health of planet
• Landmark post 2020 framework due for adaption at resumption of the UN biodiversity conference (COP 15) later this year in Kunming, China.
