The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) jointly organized a South Asia Regional Training Workshop on “Results-based Monitoring and Evaluation for Climate and Environmental Programs” on 02 and 03 February 2022, from 13:00 pm to 16:00 pm India Standard Time.
The objective of this regional training workshop was to impart skills of participants on the fundamentals and the ways to undertake monitoring and evaluation on their climate and environment-related policies, programs, and projects. Specifically, it aimed at providing the participants a practical overview of results-based monitoring and evaluation, to highlight the importance of monitoring and evaluation for developing and sustaining relevant climate and environmental programs, and to share and exchange experiences on NDC monitoring and reporting.
The two day workshop was successfully concluded with the active participation of mid-level to high-level decision-makers and environmental experts from SACEP member states representing both the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Planning.
