Dr.Abas Basir, Director General, South Asia Co-operative Environment Programmme, held bilateral discussions with Hon’ble Lyonpo Yeshey Penjor, Minister for the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, Kingdom of Bhutan During the recently concluded United Nations Climate Change Conference,(COP 25) held in Madrid, Spain. During the discussions both the parties discussed briefly on the matters related to the next Meeting of the 16th Governing Council of SACEP which will be held in Bhutan. Where Bhutan expressed their willingness to host the event in their country. Other programme related matters were also discussed during this meeting where Bhutan expressed their sincere appreciation to SACEP for its past initiatives conducted in the region.
