Director General of SACEP Dr. Abas Basir attended the 100th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Afghanistan, celebrated on 10th October 2019 at a reception in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The reception was attended by Ambassadors and High Commissioners residing in Colombo and high level dignitaries from the host country. The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Haidari welcomed the participants and called Afghanistan and Sri Lanka as the natural partners in democracy and development.
